3 artists reflect on a series of 3 international residencies in Eyrarbakki in the previous years:

Ásta Vilhelmína Gudmundsdottir is a textile artist who works with material of her immediate surrounding like horsehair, wool and seaweed. She thus shares a poetic memorial to her homeland with the viewer.

Manou Soobhany is an artist from Mauritius who lives in Munich and has spent lots of time in Iceland. His largely serial sculptures take on all shapes and sizes exploring what we see for further possible perspectives.

Kristine Schnappenburg from Berlin works with light installation and painting. For the past year, she has been focusing on afterimages that appear like a mirage in the memory.
